Neighborhood Turkey

Dad and I have been taking a bike ride after the city folk all go to bed (so no one hollers at my *wide load* lol) We have calculated the trek is 8 miles. No traffic and a nice bike trail along the river, past the golf course to a empty fenced in field where Atafino Chemical used to be which is now a brown field. Across the street from there are the city deer, we see them every night. Then on a bit farther to the Grosse Isle Toll Bridge . Then we turn around and head back home. Little did we know if we had gone just a bit further we'd have seen the Turkey, yes just one as far as we can tell. One day we took a big day time ride to Elizabeth Park and that is when we saw one lonely turkey, ever since that sighting we look for him, today we were driving down Biddle and He came right across the street in front of us so we turned around to say hello :-)
