Do I just forget the stuff and pass it on to some unsuspecting grandchild?
Do I dare toss it all out?
I have tried to make a scrapbook type thingy all about heritage and just get rid of the rest, but how do you throw out letters from WWII and Korean War vets? How does a person let go of News articles of some family member who got into the News because of a Union Strike over the steel mills back in the 40's, how do you toss out a cool newspaper from 1958? OR a huge record breaking Upper Peninsula winter storm? I am not talking about just a few boxes of stuff, I have Bins and Bins of stuff.
I keep thinking, Mother kept this stuff because it was important to her, it gives some sort of connection back to me, a sentimental flash back if you will. I don't consider myself a collector of junk, but I am a collector of sentiment, which by the way can add up to much more than just having junk, because you see Junk can be tossed! Anyway, this photo isn't really all that old, it's early 70's. Don't Auntie Kim and Uncle Glenn look just so cute? You need to click the photo to see it larger, I dunno why it's looking like a tiny thumbnail.

Um, OK, I'll start with what I have already written, a little about my Mothers Dad.
