Back on the road the next day I was all fired up and spotted the trappers selling fur on the corner of 28 and something, Pat probably wants to blog about this little adventure but I will say that trapping in Michigan anyway seems to be a lost art. (Is it an art?) Pat turned around and went back thinking about how he'd love to put some more crap on the walls at the camp. He bought two furs (I'll let him tell you more about that) But I will say that Pat offered $100.00 for two furs and the poor guy said he will take anything what with this economy. I gotta mention that the guy also said his dream is to win the lottery and take it to go hunting for that BIG BUCK in the
Keweenaw,
omg the poor guy must be desolate because the
Keweenaw is only 4 maybe 5 hours away. When we left I thought about that and mentioned to Pat maybe we should go back and give the poor bloke another $100.
What I didn't know at the time but later thought, most of these furs are Road Kill. Michigan is one place where it's legal. So my thoughts of the guy being a trapper went down the drain.
We didn't go back of course, we are now on a mission "To get to our
destination"
