Optimist Ophthalmologist :-)

Well for sure they are cataracts in my eyes and for sure they are fixable.
I have an appointment for this Friday to have the right one removed. It's outpatient procedure that takes this Dr 15 minutes so he claims. I will wear a patch for a day (just to keep me from rubbing it) and will see much clearer right away. They did offer a newfangled lens that would improve my vision instead of wearing glasses, but I am fine with my glasses, besides Marley wouldn't recognize me with out them :-) also insurance don't pay for the lens.
I am a tiny nervous, but more excited to get this done, my vision really has gone bonkers, I wouldn't pass the drivers test the way I see right now, so I am refraining from driving.
Progress on the diabetes is going slow, I eat then test 2 hours later, if the number is low 120 dl then that's one meal I will keep on eating, I have found you can get recipe ideas but only know for sure if it's right for you after testing it out, I guess a meal good for one Diabetic may not be all that good for another. Our bodies are all different.
In these couple of weeks I found:
Oatmeal with 3 slices fresh peach (no sugar no butter)
raisin brand crunch ff milk
Home made Veggie Soup
T-bone steak, plain baked sweet potato(5 cubes) with green pepper and a Plain salad (best!)
Ugh I guess I'am going pretty slow on finding what's good for me but I read it could take a year before I am comfortable with knowing what to eat.
Feeling pretty good though and keeping my numbers under control, so things are looking up :)
