La Bamba

I tried all week to put this video in and it just wouldn't load so now I am home with a better connection so will try once more. It's dads favorite thing that happened. Taking the bus to areas around the hotel strip was pretty easy to do. If I had any energy we could have just walked. Thank goodness Kathy and Bill and Pat and Little Candi girl didn't mind catering to me, I am so outta shape many times Kathy suggested a wheel chair, which many were sitting around. But I made it slowly and did the best that I could. Anyway my first bus ride as I mentioned before was quite the ride so my second ride Me n' Candi sat in the front so I could video the scary ride. Much to my surprise the ride was more than relaxing, A little Mexican man was at the back of the bus playing the guitar and singing his heart out, his next song was even more of a surprise when a young boy stood up and started to sing.

I was delighted, what a fine young man with a wonderful angelic voice. It seems things like this are very common for the poor folks in Mexico, any way they can earn money to eat a decent meal.
On the other hand when sitting on the beach area at the resort, vendor locals are selling tons of junk, they stay near the waters edge because the hotel security won't let them get too close to bother the patrons of the hotel. Beach vendors are selling cheap jewelery that looks lovely from a distance until you get a close look and it's just silver painted plastic, hair braiding, sarongs, hats and watches all carried in back packs, it's quite a sight. Little Candi wanted her parents to purchase one of the huge Conch shells that can be blown into that makes a pretty awesome sound.
I spent many hours finding sea shells in the sand with Candi, so when she wasn't around her Dad purchased a large conch shell and a dried star fish. then he buried it in a place he knew she would find it, it was cute to see her think she found these things herself
